SOSCAT
A No-Kill Cat Rescue

501(c)(3) Non-profit Organization

Founded in 2007, the SOSCAT mission is to reduce the stray and feral population of cats in Sutherlin and Oakland areas.

SOSCAT spays/neuters feral cats and returns them to their colonies according to the U.S. Standard Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) method.

SOSCAT also takes in stray and abandoned cats, of which there are thousands in our area. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, and provide their required medical care.

Then, either directly or indirectly, we find them loving, responsible, forever homes.

Once a cat is adopted, SOSCAT entrusts the new pet parent(s) to provide the cat with everything necessary for a long, healthy life.

SOSCAT has now evolved into a network of foster homes, which provides a safe haven for our cats until each one finds a forever home.
